Marc S. Wachter, ESQ

President

Prior to founding WPC, Mr. Wachter served in several senior positions. In 1993, he joined The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (with 7,500 agents in the USA) and became the leading first year agent in the entire country. His outstanding leadership led to the opening of The Wachter Agency. Recruiting, training and managing 10 attorneys, Mr. Wachter and his organization proceeded to advise on the legalities and state-of-the-art products and strategies available for use in wealth protection and estate planning. Mr. Wachter built one of the most successful Northwestern agencies in the country. He was awarded the prestigious District Agent Achievement Award for outstanding leadership and sales production.

In 1999, Mr. Wachter created WPC, a firm dedicated to providing exclusive tax minimization and wealth accumulation and protection strategies for professionals and the highly affluent. His organization and network consists of many well respected legal, financial and academic professionals worldwide. Mr. Wachter is a professional for those who seek to minimize estate taxes, reduce corporate or personal income taxes; maximize tax advantaged investment programs as well as protect their assets from the claims of creditors..

Born in New York City, Mr. Wachter attended The George Washington University, in Washington, DC, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He then went on to graduate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York City, NY in 1991. He spent his summers working for the New York Criminal Justice Departments as well as the compliance division of the American Stock Exchange. After graduation he worked as an attorney in the fields of tax, bankruptcy and asset protection until he joined Northwestern in 1993. Mr. Wachter has been a frequent guest lecturer at many financial and estate planning conferences throughout the country and has extensive experience in sales, marketing and motivational training. He has appeared in many periodicals including Newsweek and Time magazine.

Linda Guilarte - Orofino

Chief Operating Officer

Linda Orofino joined Marc Wachter’s Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Agency in 1996, just after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.  Linda was in charge of client success management. During that time, Ms. Orofino managed over 25 agents and helped to maintain a book of business that was continually growing.  

​With the creation of Wealth Planning Center, Ms. Orofino was promoted to Executive Director of Operations and began her career as a life insurance agent, quickly creating a niche market with young professionals. Her success grew into being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2002.  WPC grew into one of South Florida’s top producing life insurance agencies for the high to ultra-high net worth clientele.  Ms. Orofino designed and implemented a client management system that yielded retention based on transparency and flawless execution.  Linda managed a powerful referral network with some of the East Coasts best private wealth advisors, accountants, and estate planning attorneys.

In 2016, Ms. Orofino joined entrepreneur,  Marc Wachter’s, health and wellness company, Live Ultimate, Inc., later becoming C.O.O. of this ambassador driven MLM company.  She  is fluent in Spanish with a working knowledge of Italian and has traveled to every major continent in the world. Her passions include living a healthy lifestyle, family, adventure trekking and ocean sports, reading and listening to the classics,  and creating fine pastries. In 2011, she graduated top of her class at Le Cordon Bleu.
